Logistics Plan

Logistics Terms for Cross-Border E-Commerce Platform
Effective Date: [2025/3/11]

I. Service Scope

1. Coverage Areas
The platform provides logistics services to major countries and regions worldwide. Specific coverage is subject to the platform’s official announcements.

2. Transportation Methods
Customized solutions (e.g., air freight, sea freight, land freight, multimodal transport) are offered based on cargo type, weight, volume, and destination.

II. Customized Logistics Solutions

1. Solution Design

  • Customers must provide the following information to create a tailored logistics plan:
✅ Cargo type (general goods/sensitive goods/dangerous goods, etc.).
✅ Cargo volume (weight, dimensions, quantity).
✅ Destination country/region and postal code.
✅ Delivery urgency (standard/expedited).

  • The platform will provide a preliminary plan and freight estimate within 2 business days, subject to adjustments based on customer feedback.

2. Freight Negotiation

  • Freight rates are dynamically calculated based on cargo volume, transportation method, and destination. Bulk order discounts and long-term partnership rates are available.

  • Final freight charges require written confirmation by both parties.

III. Delivery Timelines & Liabilities

1. Delivery Timeframes

  • Estimated delivery windows (e.g., air freight: 5-10 days; sea freight: 20-45 days) are provided but not guaranteed due to customs clearance, weather, etc.

2. Delay Handling

  • If delays exceed 30% of the estimated timeframe due to platform negligence, customers may claim partial compensation (up to 30% of the freight cost).

  • Delays caused by force majeure, customs inspections, or incorrect customer-provided information are not the platform’s responsibility.

3. Cargo Damage & Compensation

  • For lost or severely damaged goods (value loss ≥50%), compensation is based on actual value, capped at 3x the freight cost.

  • Minor damage (e.g., packaging wear) will be resolved via repair/compensation negotiations, not direct reimbursement.

IV. Customs Clearance & Taxes

1. Customs Responsibilities

  • DDP Terms (Delivered Duty Paid): The platform handles destination-country customs clearance and taxes (requires complete product info and compliance documents from the customer).

  • DDU Terms (Delivered Duty Unpaid): Customers bear customs risks and taxes, with document support from the platform.

2. Prohibited Items

  • Customers must ensure cargo complies with destination-country laws. Transport of prohibited items (e.g., weapons, counterfeit goods) incurs full liability on the customer.

V. Returns & Reverse Logistics

1. Return Process

  • Customers must submit return requests within 7 days of receipt. The platform assists with reverse logistics, with costs borne by the liable party.

  • Returns for non-quality issues require prepaid shipping by the customer.

2. Return Restrictions

  • Customized goods, perishables, and fragile items are not eligible for non-defective returns.

VI. Insurance Services (Optional)

1. Coverage Options

  • Platform-partnered insurers offer coverage for total loss, partial damage, or delays. Premiums range from 1%-3% of the declared cargo value.

2. Claims Process

  • Submit evidence within 48 hours of incident. Insurers will finalize compensation within 15 business days.

VII. Force Majeure

The platform is not liable for service disruptions caused by war, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, or other force majeure events but must notify customers promptly and assist in resolution.

VIII. Terms Modification & Termination

1. The platform reserves the right to update terms, with revisions announced 15 days in advance.

2. Customers inactive for 6 consecutive months will have their logistics agreements terminated automatically. Reinstatement requires renegotiation.

IX. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of [Country/Region]. Disputes shall be submitted to [Arbitration Institution] for binding arbitration.
